My first attempt at this was the Hereford Photography Festival logo, I made the background green symbolizing Hereford's countryside. The white text helps make the text stand out and gives it an overall fresh look.
I didn't get picked for this, not even the final 3! I did think that this suited the brief but wasn't to fancy for the judges.
The Herefordshire Children's Trust wanted a brand new logo and identity so it could be recognized throughout not only Herefordshire but the rest of the UK.
I used baby blue and green, the blue representing the sky and the green representing Hereford's lush country green. The font used is Hand of Sean, a child friendly font suitable for minors to the elderly as its clear and understandable. I decided the logo needed a simple logo, so used a common childrens activity and used hand prints as its a child activity but I wanted it to come across as a 'helping hand' and fun.
Of course, I didn't get picked, not even for the final 3! These uploads don't really give the designs justice as its a JPEG file, when printed/saved as a PDSF file it works a treat.
