Iceland VS Marks & Spencer


Marks and Spencer has always had a formal and stylistic logo and have always tried to keep trendy with their changing colour schemes which as a graphic designer, I appriciate and value.
I have always said to friends, after I leave university - I would love to work for iceland. Yes Iceland, I would love to completetly revamp the entire iceland brand starting with their awful logo. The logo looks too cheap and aswell as the packaging on their foods, their carrier bags etc etc.
I think Iceland could easily be as sucsessful as companies such as Marks and Spencer or Waitrose, it just needs to get away from the cheap and tacky look that its supporting and find a new identity allowing more conservative customers be drawn to it.
