Today I got a parcel in the post and it was a vintage suitcase I ordered last week (but cancelled the order). I was well confused getting that in the post, I emailed the woman saying I didn't want it (Im the worst ebayer ever LOL), but it came today! Its so nice, its got old labels, vintage stickers and a battered and tatty front. How nice is it? Really happy I got it now!

LOL CHRISTIANITY
Not my work, but bloody damn hilarious! The church next door always deliver some corkers in terms of posters trying to advertise themselves. Previously they had a picture of a white, sandy beach with, ''Wish you were here, Jesus xox'' (LOL!) But this one is one of my personal favourites!
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
BAE CAERDYDD/CARDIFF BAY
For one of my self initiated projects, I tried to sell Cardiff Bay to the typical tourist in Cardiff Bay.
I have not quite finished the project yet, but here are some pictures I took whilst in The Bay.
Be sure to check back soon - ill be uploading a lot!
Hope you enjoy the photos of The Bay. Really enjoyed taking them as it was a lovely day out, it made the pictures look even better. I do have about 400 pictures I took that day but they have gone missing! I CONFUSED LUL!!!

MARKS AND SPENCERS PLAN A (YCN) FINAL
For the YCN brief I decided to pick Plan A. In this brief we had to make a visual identity for Marks and Spencers charity in which raises awareness of climate change.
Final Logo
- I decided to keep the logo simple and easily recognisable as an environmental logo. The simple use of greens help make the logo become noticed and stand out. I decided to develop the recycling logo by making my own arrow which helps represent Plan A's mission in recycling and being green.
PLAN A CAMPAIGN
- LEAFLET
For part of the campaign I made 2 leaflets in which condenses the Plan A aims, suitable for all to understand and make a change. These are how the leaflets look whilst on PC but unfortunately I haven't got round to taking some pictures of the final outcome.
I decided to use recycled paper to print on as not only does it help give the leaflets a professional and high quality finish - but it also works with the theme of recycling.
Finally, my initial idea of keeping the Plan A theme simple and minimal comes across significantly in both of these leaflets. Keeping the entire design simple and appealing was my main intention.
STICKERS
- To help raise awareness of Plan A, I decided that including Marks and Spencers products into the campaign would be the best result in attempt to gain more followers. By using this simple sticker, the sticker would be stuck onto packaging that have been recycled such as milk cartons and bottles.
I really think this idea of including and highlighting the products that are environmentally friendly allows the customers to understand that Marks and Spencers is attempting to lead the way into becoming green.
I also put the Plan A logo onto a white canvas bag as Marks and Spencer tends to promote the usage of canvas bags instead of plastic carriers.
Again I haven't managed to take photos of what the actual sticker looks like whilst placed on Marks and Spencers packaging, but I shall upload it when I receive it back from my tutor.
TIP CARDS
- This idea was the last I came up with which simply acts as a business card. After a customer has purchased their shopping, along with the receipt they will also be given one of these Plan A cards.
The idea behind the Plan A cards is to simply fit in with modern life as not everyone would have the time to read the leaflet, so instead by giving a small piece of card which contains just one tip which is clear and bold enough which would take seconds to read, would essentially fit in with the hustle and bustle of the modern man, making the Plan A campaign more out there.
Again I haven't had the chance to upload any photos of the printed version. They look exactly the same as shown, but will be uploading the printed version very soon!
Thanks for looking at my work, guys!

MEASURE - TRAVELLING - CONTINUED.
Here is my maps showing the most dangerous to the most safest that I want to travel to. I used a red colour as obviously it symbolises danger. The darker the red the most dangerous the country and the lighter the most safest the country. Again, I dont know what's going on with the colour. On my Mac the colours make the diagram look really nice - and helps make it look appealing. So excuse the dull colours that has happened again.

E4 STINGS
Last year I had to make an E4 sting that they could use on their station. I melted some white chocolate and put red and blue food colouring in it, then using a clay mould of the e4 logo, I allowed the chocolate to set giving me my e4 mould.
Hope you like.

MEASURE - TRAVELLING
Sorry I haven't posted for ages, with it being Christmas and New Years I've just been trying to blitz some work out but it's not looking good!
For my measure project, I'm doing travelling - so I decided to use an aeroplane radar with all the countries I want to visit, but measured by how safe it is in each country. I researched the homicide rate in each country and in order from left to right I showed the safest and unsafest places to go travelling.
It's probably better to click the image to see it full size as it being squished doesn't do it justice. I have currently started developing it further which looks a lot better and easier to see what I'm measuring.
Keep tune as I'll be posting more!

MEASURE.
FIRST DRAFT
For this project, we have to measure anything we want in any graphical form. I decided to pick something that I am really interested in, which would be travelling. I designed and made a few different ways to show the places that I want to visit the most. The 6 places I decided to include on my measure are United States, China, Thailand, Australia, France and India.
I have designed 3 ways to show the safest/the country I want to visit the most, in which are below - but I am currently designing a new way to measure for my final outcome taking on what I have designed so far into my final stages of measure.
