For this project we have to design the sides of a minibus for teenagers. I didn't want to go with the traditional graffiti look as they are teenagers, so I wanted a fresh, different look. The dots creating a pattern I really like. Its fresh and trendy which is what I wanted. A few years ago I seen the dots used and I think it was easyjet that did the dots pattern and slowly faded it off into a white space. I really liked it whatever it was and wanted to give it my own twist.
Allow me to point out that it's not finished just yet. I've still got to mess around with colours, positioning and layering before I can say its my final piece but this is what I've been doing recently.
P.S. Like I said before in a previous post, saving this as a JPEG and uploading it on here doesn't give it the crisp quality that it does.
Hope you enjoy!
EDITED
I'm not loving this project and I guess I tried to rush it to finish it, but here is the one edited versions of the bus. The type is aligned and positioned in order and the NHS logo was put in.
This design is pretty much the same but obviously the text is a different font, I used Teen for this, looked alright and did the trick. My tutor said he liked the design just to play about with the text and make it fill the side of the bus.
P.S. If you click on the image to view it bigger - it tends to look better then rather than being squished and gritty.
